Corel Painter vs Photoshop: Digital Painting Comparison (part 1)
You can draw digital painting in both Corel Painter and Photoshop, depending on how you want to work, how much time you are willing to spend on additional study of the capabilities of a particular program. Personally, I could not refuse either Corel Painter or Photoshop!
As a professional digital artist, I use Corel Painter for drawing and graphics, as well as Adobe Photoshop for retouching photos, correcting images and creating compositions.
In my opinion, the process of creating graphics in Adobe Photoshop is more visualization, while with Corel Painter you will get more experience in natural painting:

Create the Wonder Woman logo in Photoshop
Step 1
The first thing to do is to create the main form of the symbol of a miracle woman.
Step 2
The main secret is to put all the shapes on different layers. You can achieve this by copying and pasting, importing, selecting and creating layers from this selection. The main thing is that you have a separate layer for each part. We will apply some layer styles in the next steps.
Step 3
Select the lower, largest shape of the logo, (colored blue in my image). Then go to Layers> Layer Style> Emboss. Use the values below. We will also add Texture, Inner Shadow, and Color Overlay.
In the “Texture” style, use a metal pattern. This is easy to do: use Google to find images with a metal texture. Open it in Photoshop and select everything, then go to Edit> Define Pattern. After that, you can use it in layer styles. Continue reading
